Return Period
For tour bookings and services, cancellation and refund requests must be made within the following timeframes:
- Full refund requests must be submitted more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour date
- Partial refund requests may be considered if submitted 24-48 hours before the scheduled tour
- Refund requests made less than 24 hours before the tour may not be eligible for refund
For consultation services, cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a refund or cancellation, the following conditions must be met:
- The cancellation request must be submitted within the applicable return period
- The request must be made by the person who made the original booking or an authorized representative
- You must provide your booking reference number and relevant booking details
- The tour or service must not have already commenced
- Refunds are subject to the cancellation timeframes outlined in this policy
Return Shipping Costs
As we provide tour and consultation services rather than physical products, return shipping costs are not applicable. However, please note the following:
- No shipping fees apply to service cancellations
- Administrative fees may apply to certain cancellation requests as specified in our cancellation timeframes
- If you have purchased any physical items or merchandise, standard return shipping policies will apply to those items
Return Process
To cancel a booking and request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us as soon as possible using email or phone with your booking reference number
- Provide the date and time of your scheduled tour or consultation
- State the reason for cancellation (optional but helpful for our records)
- Specify whether you prefer a refund or rescheduling
- Wait for confirmation from our team regarding your cancellation request
Once we receive and process your cancellation request, we will send you a confirmation email with details about your refund or rescheduling options.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Tours that have already commenced or been completed
- No-show situations where you fail to appear for your scheduled tour or consultation
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service (except in cases of emergency or circumstances beyond your control)
- Services that have been fully consumed or completed
- Any fees or charges that are explicitly stated as non-refundable at the time of booking
General Legal Requirements
This return and cancellation policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws and regulations:
- We adhere to California state consumer protection laws
- For European customers, we comply with applicable EU consumer rights regulations
- All refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable financial regulations
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of our terms of service
- Disputes regarding refunds will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Use and applicable law
Cancellation Policy
At Craftedoehandmad, we understand that plans can change. We strive to accommodate cancellations while ensuring fairness to both our clients and our tour guides.
Cancellation Timeframes
More than 48 hours before the tour: Full refund or rescheduling available without penalty.
24 to 48 hours before the tour: 50% refund or rescheduling available with a small administrative fee.
Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund, but rescheduling may be available at our discretion, subject to availability.
No-show: No refund or rescheduling available.

Please include your booking reference number and the date of your scheduled tour in your cancellation request.
Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking or order under the following circumstances:
- Before Service Commencement: You may cancel your booking at any time before the scheduled service begins, subject to the cancellation timeframes and fees outlined in this policy
- After Booking Confirmation: Once your booking is confirmed, cancellation requests will be processed according to the timeframes specified in the Cancellation Timeframes section
- Emergency Situations: In cases of emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond your control, we will work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling or partial refunds
- Our Cancellation Rights: We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to insufficient participation, safety concerns, weather conditions, or other circumstances that make it impractical or unsafe to conduct the service
When we cancel a booking, we will provide you with a full refund or offer to reschedule at no additional cost.
Refund Procedure
If you are eligible for a refund, the following procedure applies:
- Request Submission: Submit your cancellation and refund request via email or phone, including your booking reference number
- Review Period: We will review your request within 1-2 business days and confirm your eligibility for a refund
- Refund Processing: Once approved, we will process your refund within 5-10 business days
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
Processing Times:
- Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days (may take additional time to appear on your statement)
- Debit card refunds: 5-10 business days
- PayPal refunds: 3-5 business days
- Bank transfers: 5-10 business days
If you do not receive your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately with your booking reference number.
Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of severe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control that make it unsafe or impractical to conduct the tour, we will:
- Offer to reschedule your tour at no additional cost
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
- Notify you as soon as possible about the situation
Rescheduling
We are happy to help you reschedule your tour, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour. Additional fees may apply for last-minute rescheduling requests.
Group Bookings
For group bookings, cancellation policies may vary. Please refer to your specific booking confirmation or contact us for details about group cancellation terms.
Consultation Cancellations
Consultation appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee.
